To Tap or not to Tap
Eddie was the Guitar God he passed away at the age of 65. he took the guitar in his hand and made his own signature sound that no one could come close to. Others have tried. Eddie was a classically trained musician who transcended into another genre being heavy rock and metal.
Should he have started tapping, well should he have started playing guitar? Eddie had his ups and downs however he influenced so many guitarists around the world.
Edward Lodewijk Van Halen was a Dutch-American musician, songwriter, producer, and inventor and all-round nice guy. Others can try to copy, tap, or sustain forever but Eddie was the true master.
All we can do is look back at the man that was and how he shapped the way the guitar was used and just sit and enjoy. God bless to his family and lets remember that life is short and if you play guitar play like its your last day here.
