All I can say is this movie was intense
Malcolm & Marie‘s cast stars John David Washington and Zendaya as Malcolm Elliott and Marie Jones, respectively. The story takes place over the course of one evening in Malibu, as Malcolm celebrates the release of his latest film and goes of on a full length rant about film critics who seemingly don’t understand his work.
Marie listens patiently while making macaroni and cheese for her partner, and ultimately decides to Challenge him about some harsh truths. From there, the power dynamics flip back and forth, with the featured music often punctuating key scenes or establishing a specific mood.
The music is a combination of Jazz, Soul and Deep Funk.

This is truly a masterful film Noir of the modern era. The ambiance and the way the film was shot had a cool vibe a warm and sexy texture to it. I hope these actors do not sell out and start making movies just for the sake of making movies as they are both actors of a special bread COOL . SMART . SEXY and kno their shit (Craft) all to well.
